Team Member Notifications

Improve communication with your website visitors by instantly joining the chat. Use toast notifications inside the dashboard or enable web push notifications to ensure no prospect is missed out even when the browser is closed.

Working with toast notifications

Notifications are always shown in the right upper corner unless you close the chat window or switch to the chat section of the project that sent the message notification.

At the same time, a maximum of 3 notifications are displayed at a time, other notifications are put in the waiting mode until the previous ones get closed.

How to set up web push notifications

Go to the “Account Settings” section by clicking on the avatar in the upper right corner of the panel.

In the “Notifications” section click on the “Enable notifications” button and in the pop-up window allow the display of web push notifications by clicking on the “Allow” button.

Select the chats where notifications will be shown:

  • my and unassigned conversations — to quickly receive notifications about all unanswered messages in your teams’ projects;
  • only my conversations — to receive notifications of new messages directly from your chats.

Click the “Save” button for the changes to kick in. The settings will be applied to all projects you are participating in.

Information about new messages will be shown on the desktop in the form of web push notifications, regardless of whether the browser is open or not. Click on the notification to switch to the chat.

Sound notifications

Sound notifications kick in after the first user’s interaction with the page (after any click). You do not need to enable them on purpose. If you don’t hear the sound, check if sound notifications are enabled in your browser.

Sound messages are not played after the second message in a row in order to be functional, but not annoying.
